Speckled Silver-Leaf Tassel (L433)

18th-century Italian silver leaf church tassel with original metal hook and a mecca varnish which has aged overtime. This gives a leopard pattern appearance to the tassel.  The tassel originally came from an Italian church in Tuscany and was used during feast days. Each one is hand-carved and silvered and can be configured into a holiday ornament and decorations to recreate a Rococo-style Christmas.  *The listing is for one tassel but multiple can be purchased to create a set of ornaments.
