Shown here in an 8ft opening in an 80" wide space.  A 90" shower curtain tension rod was purchased separately (Here's the link to the one I used).   A shower curtain rod that it at least 10” longer than your space is necessary to ensure it can be properly tightened. Many people have success with this “shower curtain rod hack” but people have also had theirs fall down. Some tips: Make sure that it is tightened, secure and feels stable and not drooping before leaving unattended.
