Original Item: Only One Available. Original Vietnam Era Hydra 70 Rocket with M230 Warhead. Rocket and engine have been demilitarized for training purposes, and have been fitted with a removable dummy warhead by the United States Military. These were fired from rocket pods attached to Huey UH-1B, and AH-1 Cobra Gunships during the Vietnam War in a surface-to-ground role. This particular Rocket is composed of an solid dummy fuse Assembly, a 2.75” WTU-1/B practice warhead (or similar), and a deactivated Mark 66 Mod 2 Rocket Motor Assembly with late pattern fins. The dummy fuse is marked "121197CD", The warhead body is marked: “656329 N-H-MK 1 MOD 3 LOT 3D 1293”, The Rocket Motor is marked “30003-233AS107”, the usual marking we see on these.
