Original U.S. WWII Deactivated 81mm M43 Mortar Shell Round - Inert

Original Item: Only One Available. Totally inert and demilitarized according to BATF guidelines with hollow body and inert fuse. This mortar round cannot be converted to an explosive devise and is not available for export. This is a totally genuine United States military WWII or just post war produced SHELL, M43 with the bottom portion of the point detonation fuse. All of the internal springs and other items have been removed from the fuze and the shell, and now you can look right through it. The fuse base unscrews to allow the explosive chamber to be inspected. It is marked on the side with VFCO 81 MM MORTAR SHELL, while the fuse is marked LMC. This looks to have been stripped and possibly plated for a display post war. Perfect for any display! The SHELL, H.E., M43 was originally adapted as the light shell for the 81-mm mortar.
