Original U.S. WWII Unissued M4 Bayonet by Utica Cutlery for the M1 Carbine with M8A1 Scabbard Wrapped in Original Box

Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very nice unissued WWII U.S. Army M4 Carbine bayonet fighting knife, with an original M8A1 scabbard in the original box, with the original greasy paper wrapped around the blade and part of the scabbard. Nicely marked U.S. M4 / UTICA on the blade side of hand guard for the Utica Cutlery Co., next to the U.S. Ordnance "Flaming Bomb". The blade is in great condition, and was not used during the war, spending its life in this box. The crossguard, handle, and pommel are all tight to the blade. The bayonet still has the original WWII issue leather washer grip, with a bit of discoloration towards the pommel. These have not been changed out, and the leather in the grip shows only light wear, and just a bit of rounding. The pommel is held on by the correct peened over tang, which with the flaming bomb proves this is definitely a WWII example, and not a later reissue.
