Not Available For Export! This is a rather hard to find U.S. Navy WWII M81A1 Armor Piercing 40mm Bofors Gun Round, dated 1943. The base of the casing features the following markings: “US (Anchor)” “LOT NO/ 13”, “1943”, and “40MM MKI”, The Projectile is marked on the driving band as follows: “LOT-E-4-141-1944-40MM-M81A1”. The shell is in very good condition, showing a nice mellow patina on the paint and brass finish, and the round measures 17 1/2" in overall length. What is exceptional about this set is that the Shell comes with an original Navy Issue M81A1 reinforced cardboard storage/transit tube! Ready for Display!
