Antique Silver Plate Serving Tray Aesthetic Design Circa 1893

Antique, silver plate, serving tray with Aesthetic design circa 1894 by Manhattan Silver Plate Co. The face has flowers and leaves with an inscription Aug 12, 894. Has a little wear to the plating in some areas but it's still overall wonderful and shiny, solid piece with no dings or dents. Pictures can't seem to capture it so it is even lovelier in person.Trays were not as common in this era as they weren't a necessary part of a coffee and tea service. That is why we don't come across them near as often as we do other items. Would be perfect to go with a tea set, as a serving tray or display. Measurements: Approx 16 1/4" long x 12 1/4" wide with 1 1/4" rim. Marks: 16 Manhattan Silver Plate Co Quadruple Plate 405 Please Note:This listing is for the tray only.
