Brass Bronze Candle Protectors Set Of 12 Church Altar Candles Circa 1935

Lovely, brass/bronze, candle protectors, set of 12. These protectors function to not allow wax to melt down the side, protect from draft and allow for even burning of the candle, not to mention adding a gorgeous accent to the candle. The protectors have a angular but rounded top and flare slightly towards the bottom. These were/ are used in churches on the altar and in many well-to-do homes on the side board or dinner table. Measurements: approx 1 1/2" tall x 1 1/4" diameter at the bottom, 5/8" diameter opening at the top Marks: US Patent 2017533 These protectors are in good, vintage, condition. They do have residual wax which can be removed with heat or freezing, and some spots of tarnish. No obvious damage. Most of my items are vintage and antique, which are used or aged, so my items are sold "as is". Refunds or exchanges are not accepted unless I erroneously forgot to mention a major flaw.
