XL Silver Plate Meat Dome Food Cloche

XL, silver plate, Meat or food dome/ cloche. *The tray in the first picture is for the picture only. This gorgeous dome was used to cover meat (turkey, roasts, etc) or other foods in hotels, restaurants or wealthy homes. This particular dome is large enough to cover an uncarved turkey! This has a lovely and simple design with fluting at the bottom and a top handle. This solid piece would be great for use as well as display--especially for those who collect hotel style silver. Measurements: approx 17" long x 13 1/2" wide x approx 8" tall inside, 10" tall to top of handle. Makers Mark: The dome/cloche is in good condition. May have standard signs of age and use such as light surface scratches and marks. No obvious damage. This listing is for the dome only. Anything else in the photographs is for props.
