THE REDDENING: SEASON PASS

THE REDDENING refers to the alchemical stage Rubedo, the fourth and final stage in the magnum opus.   I didn't personally begin a study of alchemy til my third book, Mercury, but it's my sense that a basic acquaintance with its four main stages, Nigredo, Albedo, Citrinitas-- and Rubedo-- is essential for artists in this time. "No cures, only alchemy," says my friend Bett Williams. I believe we spiral through all of the alchemical phases again and again in our spiritual development, and it's my experience that the breadth and depth of artistry also evolves this way. THE REDDENING consists of four live calls, each on a New Moon, each focused on a different alchemical stage and tuned precisely to the psychospiritual moment. Our work culminates with an optional 10-day intensive on Krysztof Kieślowski's DEKALOG, encompassing the Winter Solstice, December 15-24.
