It can be ordered with a  4-20 mA output (TL400-I), or 0.5-4.5 V output (TL400-V) and is ideal for detecting the level or volume of liquids, grains and bulk solids in static or moving applications. With a low-power laser beam, it performs several measurements per second while an advanced algorithm calculates not only the exact level, but also can convert the level into volume and distance in several different units. The TL400 is configurable via Bluetooth using an App compatible with Android and IOS operating systems.Accurate and Reliable Laser TechnologyThe TL-440 uses laser technology to measure the surface level. The laser is completely safe to the human eye(LASER CLASS-1). Its measurement principle is based on ToF (Time of Flight), providing an accurate and reliable distance measurement up to 4 meters regardless of the color or transparency of the surface.Configurable 4-20mA or 0.5-4.0 V OutputThe output may be configured to provide a measurement of level, distance or volume in a tank or container.  The TL400 may be configured for standard and non-standard shape tanks. The sensor can accept 20 linearization points that may be used to define the dimensions of a non-standard tank or container.Advanced Filter FeaturesThe TL-440 has a dedicated filter for non-static tank applications based on machine learning algorithms that have been validated in real-life situations and have configurable parameters for specific applications. There is a simple static filter which sets a moving average with a configurable response time from 1 second to 6,500 seconds(1,000 hours). The advanced filter option adds several additional filter settings which allows the TL400 to provide accurate measurements even in the most challenging applications.Configurable Field of ViewThe Field of View or Angle of View of the sensor is also configurable. This useful for adapting the sensor to tanks of various shapes and sizes.Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) InterfaceTL400 has a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) interface, compatible with smart phones that have Bluetooth version 4.0 or higher.  The Bluetooth interface allows you to connect to the TL400 through the SigNow App which provides configuration, diagnostic features and firmware updates. SigNow is available for both Android and IOS devices.
