Low Tide, High Desert

Desert and seabed collapse into one another through a spectrum of aqua, earth tones, lavender, turquoise, teal, and burnt sienna, all held within a soft, atmospheric vignette. The surface rises in sculptural ridges—oil built nearly half an inch deep—inviting the viewer to read the terrain as both eroded landscape and submerged reef. Finger-painted strokes braid across the canvas like shifting underwater currents, suggesting a world where arid heat and tidal motion coexist in the same breath.
