The painting centers on three cacti-like forms in the foreground and yucca shapes to the right, while a distant botanical spire stands in quiet silhouette against a radiant horizon. Desert and seabed collapse into one another through a spectrum of aqua, earth tones, lavender, turquoise, teal, and burnt sienna, all held within a soft, atmospheric vignette. The surface rises in sculptural ridges—oil built nearly half an inch deep—inviting the viewer to read the terrain as both eroded landscape and submerged reef.
