Doug Tipple PVC Irish Flutes

Proud to represent Doug's flutes here at IFS!  Doug has cracked the code on making great & affordable PVC style Irish flutes with excellent power, tone & intonation!  His flutes, though cylindrical, still have excellent intonation through their range thanks to the Tipple/Fjardo wedge that he places in the headjoint.  Nice! We offer his low D flute with 3 different finger hole placements: Inline, Offset and Offset Small-Handed.  Both offset models have holes 3 and 6 offset.  The Offset Small-Handed model has a shorter reach from hole 5 to hole 6.  This makes the E note a bit less-strong in tone but is a good compromise for those with smaller hands.
