This is a proprietary fabric that is seriously substantial with a great hand and texture.  The drawstrings are an sturdy oxford cloth that are vat dyed in the same colors. The silhouette slightly modified for a more contemporary feel however the drawstring at the waist and hem allow for various customizations in terms of fit. The oversized side pockets feature a flap that is reminiscent of type 3 chest pockets. Tanuki was able to work with the same factories that make repro items for some of the most popular repro brands However, it took them a long time to convince them since they usually refuse to work on garments that deviate too much from archive garments.
