Message us if you would like to see all of the photos we took of this guitar!**  VINTAGE VERIFIED BY ISH GUITARS Tech Notes:  Very interesting Telecaster!  This is the elusive “Smugglers” (heavy ash body with large relief cut under the pickguard. Guitar plays great with medium/low action and flat relief.  Strung with D'Addario XL strings. This guitar was at some point refinished and the neck pickup was replaced with a Charlie Christian style pickup which was actually glued into the pickguard and not moveable.  The person who installed the pickup was pretty sloppy with the soldering but all the joints are solid and work perfectly.. The body route was also further enlarged to allow room for the pickup.  The headstock was refinished and the decal was redone and looks like i
