Martin Custom Shop GP28 Style Acoustic Guitar Crimson Cocobolo DESCRIPTION This Martin Custom Shop GP28 was spec’d by our Founder in person at the Martin factory, hand selecting all woods and working 1-on-1 with the custom shop team to make sure this guitar was absolutely perfect.  We found an incredible lot unique piece of one of our favorite, rare tone woods - Crimson Cocobolo - which was a no-brainer for the back and sides. After also discovering a small batch of rare Katalox bridge and fretboard sets deep in Martin’s wood room, we knew it was the perfect match. Topping this build off (quite literally) is the figured Sitka Bearclaw top, which sounds as incredible as it looks.  As with all of our hand-spec’d Martin Custom Shops, the base model of this build is a GP28, but the guitar that resulted is anything but.
