1967 Rickenbacker Bantar Banjatar Banjo Electric Guitar Hybrid Super Rare Fireglo

An amazing and super rare Rickenbacker Bantar from July of 1967 (serial number GG3362). They only made 50 of these instruments, some in Fireglo, some in Mapleglo, although no one knows how many of each, or how many are still in existence. This specific Bantar looks to be the one featured in the famous "Rittor" Rickenbacker book (if you have the book, check out the grain, it matches exactly!). It is in extremely good condition for a 1967. The electronics work and sound great! There is one approx 4" long scratch in the back, and some very mild wear on the bottom edge near the input jack. The strings are very old, and the drone string tuning key is split on one side (cannot be seen in photos), an easy fix. This is a major collectors instrument that will never be going down in value.
