Overhead Crane Inspector - Qualified

Overhead Crane Inspector is designed to increase the participant's level of knowledge for inspection of overhead lifting devices, which include bridge, gantry, monorail, fixed hoists, and jib wall mounts. The 3-day course consists of classroom workshops and hands-on inspection sessions. Practical learning is incorporated on overhead cranes and is followed by a written exam and hands-on inspection evaluations. All mechanics and maintenance personnel who are responsible for their company's overhead crane(s) should attend this course, especially those industries with high use cranes, such as production and manufacturing. Course Outline Damage Recognition The trainee will be able to recognize and evaluate damaged wire rope, sheaves, drums, block and hook, according to the guidelines established by recognized industry standards. Mechanical Damage The trainee will
