The watch is an early "pie pan" dial, non-quick setting movement Datejust. The watch has a classic silver grey dial with a combination of traditional stick markers. This is a more unusual, and rare "no lume" dial, meaning that there are no luminous plots above the hour markers, or in the hands. The printing of the text and chapter hash marks are in black, which really pop from the dial. The watch is powered by the classic Rolex, Swiss made, twenty five jewel automatic caliber 1560. A movement that also powered the iconic sports watches such as the GMT and the Submariner. It remains one of the last Datejust to be powered by this caliber.
