These watches have a long history with the US Army, and were a very popular and dependable option for GI’s during the Vietnam War. The case is a fixed lug case often employed on military watches to prevent the lugs detaching from the case under duress. The case has an unusual parkerized finish to prevent glare and attracting unwanted attention! The dial is a classic military design with matte black background, easy to read, clear white Arabic numerals, and luminous arrow head hour markers clear and easy to read at night. Inside the 12 hour dial is a 24 hour dial, also useful in the military. The white painted hands are also filled with lume, sadly the hour lume has fallen out over time.
