Artist Mike Svob has spent decades mastering watercolors, acrylics and oils, known for his signature strong, bold color. This beautiful piece is of Moraine Lake, a glacially fed lake in Banff National Park, just 14 kilometres outside the Village of Lake Louise, Alberta. Its waters are known for their amazing colour, a vivid shade of turquoise that changes in intensity throughout the summer as the glaciers melt. Mike describes his inspiration, "I've always been deeply moved by the colorful patterns and subtle shades of light upon the landscape.
