Rose/Green Spectrum Cube

Cold glass artist Jack Storms takes this universally approachable form, the cube, to the next level. The core of the sculpture consists of the finest optical lead crystal that has been cut and polished to precision. Once the core is complete, it is surrounded with an optical crystal that camouflages, giving the appearance of a floating core. The Rose Spectrum Cube features six optical lenses and architectural colored glass lines the core of the piece making it a cube sculpture like nothing you’ve ever seen before. The Rose Spectrum Cube refracts, reflects and casts colored shadows. Each one of Jack Storms cold glass sculptures starts at the core. The artist then cuts, grinds, polishes and laminates the glass together, hundreds of times; until he achieves the core design he aspires for.
