Pulelehua (Kamehameha Butterfly) / Vanessa tameamea Known as the Kamehameha Butterfly or Pulelehua is one of only two native butterflies in Hawa'i.  Sometimes mistaken for a Monarch butterfly, this native flier is smaller in size.
