Once Upon a Time On the Yellowstone

Like something out of a fairytale, a gorgeous full rainbow spans the sky over my favorite oxbow on the Yellowstone River in Paradise Valley, MT. I have wanted this image for years, spending many stormy evenings at this location hoping for a break in the clouds. On this June day, shortly before the sun set, I was treated to a scene perhaps even better than I had imagined. With rain coming sideways into my camera, I shot hundreds of images, wiping my lens every few seconds. Fortunately, at the peak color of the rainbow, I had a few without distracting water spots.  This is offered in several sizes as a ready-to-hang aluminum print, the best way to display a vibrant photo with incredible detail in my opinion.
