R. J. Storm Hand-built Violin - No. 175 (2018)

We offer this top-notch hand-built violin from renowned maker R. J. Storm.  Those in the violin world will know that R. J. Storm was the student and apprentice of the famous restorer Carlos Arcieri and may also know his name because of his regular columns in Fiddler Magazine entitled "Violin Maker's Corner."  For many years, R. J. has been quietly making first quality instruments for well-known players in both the classical and bluegrass worlds. For instance, Jason Carter of the famous Del Mcoury band has been bowing on an R. J. Storm violin for decades.  R. J.'s instruments don't come up for sale very often so we are more than pleased to be able to offer this one.  It was built in 2018 and is labeled No. 175 and sports all of R.J.'s trademark features such as lightly hollowed f-holes, thicker corners and a defined chin which rests just perfectly by the player's hand.
