  This figurine, titled 'Be Patient' depicts a little farm girl feeding two hungry Geese . Description: Goebel Hummel Figurine Girl Feeding Ducks, 197 2/0 "Be Patient" Full Bee stamp, TMK-2 c1950. Designed in 1948.  The charming figurine depicts a young girl holding a bowl of food with two hungry geese on either side of her.  Marked to the underside. Sister M.I.Hummel is incised on the base edge behind the figure.  Measures Approx. 4.5" height x 2.5" diameter Condition: Great condition. No chips or cracks, light shelf smudges to base.   The sketch art of Sister Maria Innocentia Hummel began to appear in the 1930s in Germany and Switzerland, mostly pastoral drawings of children. The German art publisher Ars Sacra was involved in the early popularization of the art on postcards.
