This Herkimer Diamond nestled in its matrix was collected at the one and only Ace of Diamonds Mine in Middleville, NY. Collecting Herkimer Diamonds in their matrix consists of very carefully breaking dolostone with a 5-12 pound sledge hammer. I collected this specimen during the 2020 mining season. Herkimer Diamonds are very high vibrational stones that are commonly referred to as “The Stone of Attunement”.
