It is exceptionally soft with a wonderful hand, yet cool and extremely strong. It looks beautiful due to a subtle tweed effect that is the result of each fiber taking the color differently when dyed. But the best part is there are 2 plastic bottles in each hank of yarn. A study in 2016 showed that Americans consumed 50 billion plastic bottles and only recycled 23%. Just one million plastic bottles recycled saves 250 barrels of oil and eliminates 180 metric tons of CO2 emissions from being released into the atmosphere.
