13.75oz - Max Brush - Chore Coat

The Max Brush Selvedge Chore Coat takes one of the softest denims we’ve ever handled and turns it into a workwear classic with an elevated touch. At 13.75oz, this Japanese selvedge is substantial, but the double-brushed treatment transforms it into something entirely different from rigid denim. Brushed once in one direction and then again in the other, the fibers are lifted and opened to create an indulgently soft hand on both the exterior and interior. Built on a broken twill base, the fabric sheds the usual diagonal lines, allowing the brushed texture to stand out as the true focal point. When we first saw this fabric in a pants silhouette, we couldn’t imagine it not being part of a full suit. The brushed finish was simply too luxurious to stop at one piece.
