I was molested by a friend of the family and harbored hate, un-forgiveness and murderous thoughts in my head. At the age of 16, I made the startling observation that lack of forgiveness was hurting ME, not my perpetrator. I started the first step of the forgiveness journey. The first step was just the beginning of a 1,000 step journey, of which I am on about step 972.
