Petty with red and black handle

A Petty or utility knife for the kitchen. Smaller than a chef knife but larger than a paring knife. The blade is 4 inches long and of AEB-L stainless steel with a hammered finish. The handle is of Red and Black Micarta with a single copper pin. The handle shape is oval in cross section. The blade length is similar to a paring knife, but it is straight and flat. No curve at the tip. The handle joins the blade at an angle which prevents your knuckles from hitting the cutting board. This is a great knife for working smaller food items on the cutting board, shallots garlic etc.
