original painting: 24x36, oil on panel this painting is available for purchase, contact the artist for information Pilot Peak is one of Greater Yellowstone's most prominent and recognizable landmarks.  Both peaks (you have to include Index!) are truly striking, especially when viewed from the Beartooth Highway, and they have been on my list to paint since my first trips to the Beartooths over 20 years ago.  Countless trips and many years later I finally stumbled on the view that I was waiting for!
