Fresh, delicious, synthetic chemical-free, Florida-Grown VELVET APPLE picked and shipped directly from our Florida Farm in the Redland Agricultural District of Miami-Dade County to your doorstep. The taste is mildly sweet with complex fruit notes with a texture similar to a creamy pear.  The smell of the skin can off putting.  It is recommended to peel the skin and refrigerate the fruit for a few hours before consuming to dissipate the smell.  Only about twenty percent of the fruit harvested have seeds.   With FedEx Standard overnight shipping, it's possible to have your Florida VELVET APPLE from Tree to Tastebuds within 24 hours!!!! Our farm is transitioning to Organic Farming practices, which requires at least three years for USDA certification. This fruit has not been sprayed with pesticides, herbacides, or fungicides.
