Bridge Of Hope
Written and published by the Japanese Executive Women’s League. This publication, a major historical study of Japanese American history, was undertaken by JEWL, the Japanese Executive Women’s League, a non-profit organization of Japan-born women entrepreneurs. It was originally written in Japanese and then translated into English. The translated version contains more photos and was slightly expanded for the English audience. Both texts are included in this book. The original publication was in 2007. For years it was one of the few titles telling the Japanese American story available for Japanese readers. It is a well-researched and comprehensive book for its time period (which ends in 2007). Paper: 145 pp. for the English text; 81 pp. for the Japanese text.
