Designed by Reiko Sudo and Hiroko Suwa. NUNO, the renowned Japanese textile company, makes this Origami Pleats scarf by tucking sheer polyester organdy into a heavy paper mold that has been folded into a traditional origami pattern. It is then heat-set, and the fabric is peeled away from the pattern, leaving a three-dimensional panel of gossamer fabric. NUNO produced this scarf in rich purple, exclusively for JANM’s Museum Store. 56”L x 16”W. 100% polyester. Made in Japan.
