Remembrance Mug

Bob Matsumoto, who created the iconic “Remembrance” poster and icon, now adds his mark on a mug. He designed this mark as a way of honoring the families who were incarcerated in the ten concentration camps after the signing of the infamous Executive Order 9066. In his words: It’s a tribute to the 120,000 Japanese Americans who were incarcerated during WWII. It’s a symbol of the loss of our civil rights and the indignity we suffered.
