Point was inspired by the traditional Scottish Fair Isle knitting. The fabric is woven with dense and semi-lustrous rayon yarns in the warp and weft, and later secured by a fine nylon binder. The grid structure is reminiscent of needlepoint and traditional gros point transport cloth.
