Masquerade

Media: Assemblage/ceramic sculpture Type: Free Standing or Wall Hanging Dimensions: This is a full front view of my Assemblage work called "Masquerade". I originally created this work as part of a show called Autumn Apparitions which showed at JKR Gallery. The piece explores the idea that we all hide behind masks, and the different motives we may have for doing so. Sometimes to hide something, and other times to become someone we would normally be too afraid to become, whether because of societal, familiar, or friend group pressures of what we think is "expected" of us.
