They show minor to average signs of wear and tear including scuff marks, scratches, nicks, and worn finishes. There is a thin dust/grime film that covers the cap and barrel of both pens that we could not get off when we cleaned them. The rollerball grip area has some cosmetic imperfections that almost look like small cracks in the surface. The fountain pen has similar imperfections on the grip, but not as widespread and noticeable. The rollerball pen has some discolorations on the bottom of the barrel in the gold finished area. Please refer to the pictures to get a better idea of the physical condition. The rollerball pen cartridge is dry and needs replacement.
