Vegetable Man, Khartoum

This is the kind of thing that you really don‰۪t have time to think about.åÊ If you‰۪re like me you don‰۪t want to ask someone to pose for you. You know that it willåÊchange the whole thing that attracted you in the first place. Also, if you don‰۪t speak theåÊlanguage you know you‰۪ll screw up the request. I was walking along in a market in Omdurman, a suburb of Khartoum, in the Sudan. The man, his gesture of relaxation, his ‰ÛÏwork‰۝ and the gestures of all the vegetables wereåÊgreat for me.åÊ As I approached him I put the camera up to my eye, got two frames, smiled at him andåÊmade a thank you gesture, and I was gone.
