Ruby in the Rough

I love the simplicity of the beautiful ring. A raw, unpolished, and unfinished Ruby is sunk into a hand-carved wax band and cast in place, meaning the gold forms around the stone, rather than the stone set into the gold. It's how you get that delicate edge of gold lapping up the sides of the stone, contouring it's unique and irregular shape perfectly. The ring in the pictures is set in 18kt Rose Gold, is a size 5.75, and is available for $680.
