Latin Jazz Ensemble, Julio Jauregui, Thursday, 7:45-9:15pm

This combo will meet weekly on Thursdays running April 10th to June 12th with performances on June 12-14. Julio Jauregui's Latin ensemble is one of Seattle's best kept musical secrets. Julio brings his decades of experience working with the top artists in Latin music to this fun, supportive, and welcoming ensemble which has been a Jazz Night School favorite since the beginning. This ensemble works on music from Latin jazz artists such as Chucho Valdes, Ray Barretto, Emiliano Salvador, Poncho Sanchez, and more. It is open to students of all levels who wish to learn and have a great time. Homework: Homework is comprised of playing assignments based on the combo music and individual needs. Student Requirements: Punctual attendance and desire to learn and improve. Students supply their instruments.
