Kantha Bag - Medium Size

Kantha is perhaps the oldest form of Indian embroidery as it can be traced back to the first and second century. The thought behind this needlework was to reuse old clothes and materials and turn them into something new. Traditionally you would layer saris together and have a running stitch to bind them.  These silk kantha bags are a modern way to celebrate such an ancient art craft.
