Demnitz (Anderson): Elementary School for Clarinet
Code: JP7051ISMN: 979-0-3019-0105-2Although this clarinet method is titled Elementary School, its concepts are not at a beginning level. The etudes will introduce skills that will become the foundation for clarinet playing. This includes studies for articulation, dynamics, scale and arpeggio patterns, and ornamentation. The scale and arpeggio etudes utilize many of the standard key signatures. However, the clarinetist must keep in mind that the listener will not know that the key signature may be a problem. The goal is to make every key sound as technically proficient as C Major. Above all, the etudes must be played musically, with all the dynamics and phrasing of solo repertoire.
