Retro Chicago Tourism Posters

Inspired by the WPA posters of long ago, these Chicago tourism posters bring to life the character of our beautiful city and make the perfect addition to home offices, dens, entertainment rooms, staircases, entryways, and more. Paris on the Prairie brings the vision of Daniel Burnham to life when he was imagining the World's Fair. City in the Garden depicts the city at its broodiest. The El Train hearkens back to the golden era of Chicago. These posters are original designs created from photos I have taken. I cut apart multiple photos and collage them together digitally. Then I use manual and AI-based tools in Photoshop and Illustrator to stylize them to be cohesive and evoke the retro feel.
