Wireless Switch - No Sensor

The wireless switch can be used for monitoring doors and windows. This option does not include the Door/Window switch and can be connected to your existing door/window reed-style sensors. It is small (1” x 1” or 2.54cm x 2.54cm) and can be installed discreetly. Battery life is around 1 year, depending on the number of transmissions. Rugged yet elegant cream plastic case allows the sensor to be deployed both indoors and outdoors, and, if sealed with silicone, could be water-resistant. It can operate in request/reply or publish mode using an external power source. When asleep, it is awoken by a change in the external switch (i.e., open or closed) to send readings. If powered externally, then the device can operate in a fully awake mode and can respond to requests for switch state in a request/reply fashion. The device will also transmit switch state changes when in fully awake mode. Optimize battery life Tested at 288 (144 door open/door close) messages per day for 1 year on one battery.
