Fern Checkerboard Embroidery Frame

This piece was created using inspiration from some of my favorite fiber artists and a ton of experimentation. I hand cut the fabric and wove it together, stitched it similar to quilting (sorta!), embroidered on it and then hand stretched it over a wooden frame.
