The rubies are completely untreated, unheated and have a vibrant pink/purple/red color. I have strung them on gold 49 strand Beadlon wire which provides the ultimate in flexibility and durability. The rubies are asymmetrically interspersed with 14K solid gold ornate Bali beads. The necklace is 16 inches long PLUS a 2 inch extender allowing it to be worn anywhere from 16-18 inches.
