Raven Has My Back Cape with Bison Trim

From the signature series designed exclusively for Old Main Gallery in Bozeman, Montana, for the show: Werifesteria. Five capes were created to celebrate Montana, along with Swedish photographer/artist, Marléne Nilsén (IG: @lavenlay) who shared her exquisite images of feminine mystique and power in landscape. Raven Has My Back is magnificent and empowering. It is made with a fine wool twill outer and Italian brushed flannel lining. The raven features hand-cut appliquéd feathers, a hand-drawn and embroidered head and claws, plus beadwork. Jennie prepared and stretched the bison before having it tanned. She chose the best fluffiest bison to trim the cuffs and luxurious hood of this one-of-a-kind piece.
